Marketing + AI System

A custom marketing system, strategically powered by AI.

The System is marketing that gets diagnosed, built and calibrated every month with real data, run on AI in key areas but overseen with the judgment of an experienced professional. It's not about adding AI to marketing: it's about building marketing with AI in the areas where the current team can't reach, building on real data and directing with judgment. That's what keeps it from becoming an executor disconnected from reality.

The framework

Today any team can produce competent baseline marketing in minutes with AI. What it can't produce on its own is direction: knowing what to build, reading what actually works, and keeping the system from drifting toward the generic.

01The three phases

Diagnosis, build, calibration.

01

Diagnosis

An audit of the digital marketing operation, current channels, measurement and current output. What's there, what measures well, what just inflates the report, where efficiencies can be found. The starting point isn't a proposal, it's a map of what's actually happening.

02

Build

Key areas and areas that need support are identified and powered through AI: stack, processes, workflows and measurement connected to the business. Every piece is left operational and documented for the team to use, not so it depends on an outsider, but so it can lean on the judgment behind it.

03

Calibration and oversight

The ongoing relationship. Every month, what's working gets read and a status gets set, along with any differentiated projects coming up. Course gets adjusted and generic AI drift gets kept in check. This is the core where the judgment layer lives and decisions get made.

02Proprietary concepts

The system's vocabulary.

Four definitions that organize how I work. Each one in a pull-quote format, meant to be understood in a single sentence.

What is a calibrated system?

Marketing that gets diagnosed, built and adjusted monthly with real data, instead of campaigns that launch and get abandoned until the next report. Calibration is what keeps things aligned and turns scattered activity into tangible output.

What is the judgment layer?

The strategic judgment that turns AI output into competitive advantage. It's what separates marketing run on AI from marketing generated by AI. Without a judgment layer, AI produces generic volume; with one, it produces differentiation.

What is generic drift?

What happens when AI is used to produce marketing without oversight or with less-than-ideal inputs. Production gets easier and faster, but the output converges toward the market average and can become indistinguishable from any competitor's.

What is AI-first architecture?

Designing the stack, processes and marketing operation assuming AI as base infrastructure, not as a complementary tool. It's not about "adding AI": it's about building with AI and overseeing it with judgment.

03The pieces

Five services, one system.

Each service works on its own, but performs better connected: SEO/AEO/GEO, paid media, analytics and martech, automation and email, and project management. The system is what makes them work together toward the same business outcome. See the services.

The next step

Does your marketing need a system, or just one piece?

The first conversation is to understand your situation and see, with no obligation, what makes the most sense in your case.
